Kia Launches Carens X-Line Starting at Rs 18.95 Lakh

As the festive season kicks off in India, Kia India has unveiled new variants of the Carens, including the top-of-the-line Carens X-Line. Priced between Rs 18.95 lakh and Rs 19.44 lakh, this variant offers a new level of luxury and style. It's approximately Rs 54,000 more expensive than the equivalent Luxury Plus variant.

The X-Line variant, previously introduced with the Seltos and Sonet models, introduces a unique matte stealth finish on the exterior and a fresh cabin theme. It's available exclusively in the six-seater configuration.

Externally, the Carens X-Line boasts the striking "Xclusive Matte Graphite" paint scheme. Inside, the car features the "Xclusive Two-Tone Black and Splendid Sage Green" theme, with special contrasting orange stitching on seats, armrests, steering wheel, and gear lever cover.

What sets the X-Line apart is its rear seat entertainment package, a feature not available in other variants. This offers access to podcasts, screen mirroring, and a range of entertainment and news apps, all operable via a smartphone app.

Furthermore, the X-Line variant includes all the top-end features available with the Luxury Plus trim, making it an all-encompassing choice for those seeking the pinnacle of style and convenience in an MPV.

Since its introduction in February 2022, the Kia Carens has gained popularity in India. The range received price revisions in April 2022, reflecting the vehicle's exceptional features and capabilities. The Carens is offered with three engine options, catering to various driving preferences.

In terms of features, it's packed with offerings like ambient lighting, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, air purifier, Kia Connect telematics, sunroof, and roof-mounted AC vents for the second and third rows. Safety is a paramount concern, with six airbags, stability control, hill descent control, hill start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and all-wheel disc brakes included as standard.
