Tata Harrier And Safari Facelift

Tata Harrier and Safari Facelifts Teased, Bookings Open October 6

Tata Motors has released the first set of teasers for the upcoming Harrier and Safari facelifts. Both models are expected to go on sale in the coming weeks, and bookings for the facelifted SUVs will commence on October 6, 2023.

Key Updates:

  • New Front Styling: Both the Harrier and Safari will receive all-new front styling. The refreshed Safari will feature a broader grille with new body-coloured inserts, a split headlamp setup similar to the new Nexon, and a large central air intake underlined by a silver trim. The Harrier's teaser shows a connected LED lightbar at the top.

  • Differentiated Front Fascia:

  • \The teasers suggest that both SUVs will have more differentiated front fascias with their respective facelifts compared to the outgoing models.

  • Profile and Rear Updates: While there won't be major changes in the profile, new alloy wheel designs are expected. The tail-lamp cluster at the back may feature a sharper design and a connected light bar. Minor styling tweaks are also anticipated for the rear bumper and tailgate.

  • Powertrain Options:

  • The Harrier and Safari facelifts will retain the 2.0-litre diesel engine, available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. These powertrains were recently updated for BS6 Stage II emissions norms.

  • Future Plans: Tata Motors is working on introducing petrol and electric powertrains for these SUVs, but these updates are still in the pipeline.

Tata Motors is known for releasing multiple teasers to preview changes and additions before the full reveal of new models. More details about the Safari and Harrier facelifts are expected to be revealed in the coming days leading up to their official launch.
